David L. Singer career started at the First Court of Appeals in Houston where was a Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Justice Murry Cohen. He then was an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office from 1984 until 1990. At the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Singer prosecuted many serious felony and Capital Murder cases, including obtaining a life sentence for the “Galleria Rapist”. He also worked on the Federally funded narcotics task force in the office prosecuting major drug cases. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Singer opened the Law Office of David L. Singer and was a solo practitioner from 1990 until the end of 2016. During that time Mr. Singer handled mostly Criminal Defense matters.
